#itspossibletoloveabank: Puppy love

If you’re a follower of BOQ on any of our social media accounts, you may have noticed that we REALLY love our four legged friends.

It’s visual evidence of the fact that if you drop into one of our branches with your pet, you’ll more than likely be greeted by adoring staff clamoring to cuddle your fur baby!

You see, our mission at BOQ is to prove it’s possible to love a bank. As animal lovers, we know that many of you value your pets as much as your own friends or family. That’s why we extend our love to these guys too – with custom BOQ dog bowls, treats and toys!

Don’t believe us? Here’s a breakdown of some of BOQ’s most popular and social pooches…

1. BOQ Coolangatta.

2. Billy, BOQ Gladstone. We loved this video shared by BOQ Gladstone Owner Managers Rachel and Andrew Bauer of their dog Billy clowning around in a BOQ Insurance raincoat.

3. Rex, BOQ Richmond. Rex is a big hit with BOQ Richmond customers.

4. Bruno the Pug, BOQ Mt Pleasant.

We’re told that visits from Bruno the pug are one of the great highlights of the working day at BOQ Mt Pleasant! It’s not hard to see why. #puglife.

5. Super dog, BOQ Ipswich.

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); = id; js.src = “//”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));

It’s no secret we’re massive animal fans here at BOQ. Tash from BOQ Kalgoorlie bought this spunky fellow in for RSPCA Australia ‘Take Your Dog to Work Day’ a few weeks ago. We’re a little bit in love! <3

A recent study by the University of Missouri found that interacting with animals significantly increases your levels of Oxytocin, the hormone that causes people to feel happy and trusting.

This office’s ‘cat library’ lets workers borrow a kitten for their workday! Jealous? Us?

Tell us, have you dropped by a BOQ branch with your pet and received some love? Would you feel happier at your workplace with the occasional animal around?
